Called “the future of comedy” by some random guy on twitter, Jason Thomas Mayfield is a comedian, and storyteller living in Brooklyn. He regularly performs all over the country. Known for being loud and energetically awkward, his unique style of genuine storytelling will leave you feeling moved, and not sure whether you’re laughing or crying.  He co-wrote and stars in the webseries, Doormen. He regularly performs all over the country. Know for being loud and energetically awkward, his unique style of genuine storytelling will leave you feeling moved, and not sure whether you’re laughing or crying.

His one-man-show, Everybody Lied to Me, is as inspirational as it is hilarious and has been playing theaters, festivals, and campuses all over the country. More than just comedy, Everybody Lied to Me is a collection of Jason’s best stand-up and stories, about what they didn’t tell you about life after college, about finding what it is you want to do with your life.  Finding your passion, and above all, finding what feeds you…

A Thespian in high school, Jason can often be found teaching and performing at the various Thespian Festivals around the country.
